2. WHAT DATA DO WE PROCESS?

The personal data that we process are obtained from information you provide us as User by completing forms on the Website or sending your queries or requests for contact or information. Each form indicates the data required.

We only gather the data necessary for each purpose. Remember that if you do not provide obligatory information, it is possible that we will not be able to deal with your query or process your request.

 

3. FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We process your personal data to:

  1. Manage queries and requests received, such as requests for contact or information.
  2. Send commercial communications or newsletters through any channel, including electronic means (such as email and web notices) about latest news, activities, products, services, and offers and promotions relating to our activity.
  3. Measure and analyse Users’ experience and browsing habits. Use of cookies depends on the settings you make both in the cookie banner and through your browser.

 

4. WHAT IS THE LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR DATA?

The legal basis for processing your data is your consent given specifically for each of the purposes expressed. You can revoke your consent at any time. You may also object to continue receiving commercial communications in the manner indicated in the footer of each communication.

Regarding web traffic analysis, the legal basis for processing your data is also your consent, which you give when you accept the installation of our cookies and which you can revoke or configure at any time through our configuration panel. 5. HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

Your personal data are conserved for the period necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, and specifically:

  1. Processing queries and managing requests: time necessary to deal with the query or the request.
  2. Sending communications: data will be processed until the interested party requests their erasure. If you do not request their erasure, we will erase your data within a maximum period of two years since you last consented the processing for this purpose.
  3. Web traffic analysis: until you revoke your consent. In any case, web traffic information is periodically deleted, so that we retain only anonymised statistical usage data, which do not allow Users identification.

 

6. WHO ARE THE DATA RECIPIENTS?

I3LUNG is a consortium of several legal entities, each of them dedicated to different activities for the provision of I3LUNG services. We may communicate your data to such entities to solve your questions and comments, or provide you with the corresponding services you may require.

Likewise, we may communicate your personal data to providers that helps us to carry out I3LUNG activities, e.g. IT tools, technical support services, payment providers, financial services, some of which are located outside the European Economic Area, with administrative purposes or with the purpose of sending electronic communications, in the event you provided the corresponding consent.

We guarantee that where your data may leave the European Economic Area, the same protection level is maintained based on compliance with the provisions of the European Union data protection regulation. In this regard, we can only internationally transfer your data (i) to countries with an adequate level of protection, as declared by the European Commission; (ii) based on the provision of adequate guarantees such as standard contractual clauses or binding corporate standards, or (iii) when authorised by public institutions or under other conditions provided for in the regulation.

7. SAFETY MEASURES

We are committed to keeping your personal data secure, taking all reasonable measures to do so. We implement all necessary organisational and technical measures in accordance with the regulations in force against any unauthorised access and modification, disclosure, loss or destruction. We demand and legally bind our service providers who may handle your personal data to do the same.

 

8. REGISTRATION AND USE OF CORPORATE SOCIAL NETWORK ACCOUNTS ON THE WEBSITE

In the case of the profiles that I3LUNG maintains on different social networks linked from our Website, for example, through plug-ins or third-party applications, your data may be processed under other privacy policies of the owners of these social networks.

The use of such plug-ins is voluntary. If you choose to use them, you will be authorising the communication of your personal data (IP address, browsing data) to the aforementioned social networks and we will not be responsible for the further processing that they may carry out with your data. We recommend that you examine the terms and conditions of use of these platforms prior to your interaction on social networks with the I3LUNG profiles on these social networks.

We created the profiles in said linked social networks to spread information about our activity and offer different channels of communication to people interested in what we do.

 

9. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

You can request confirmation from I3LUNG regarding whether your personal data are being processed and, if so, you may access them. You may also request the rectification of inaccurate data or, if applicable, request their erasure where, among other reasons, the data are not necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.

In certain circumstances it is possible to request the limitation of the processing of your data, in which case we will only retain them to process claims or answer complaints.

You may revoke your consent at any time. Revocation is not retroactive unless otherwise required by law. Your data may be kept blocked for the prescription periods established by the applicable regulations.

You may also oppose the processing of your data, in which case we will not process your data, except for compelling legitimate reasons or to process potential complaints.
